How a Season with Sol Prepares You for High School Basketball
Get your games on film
Sol families can claim a free Trace camera through our link. Film your own games all season, so your high school coach can see what you did in the off-season instead of taking your word for it — and a college coach three states away can watch a whole game, not a two-minute reel.
Real games, every week
LOCAL plays league games against other club teams. TRAVEL plays NCAA certified events in and outside San Diego. Either way you are playing full games every week.

Some players keep going after high school. Contact rules, creating your online profile, and the recruiting timeline are all covered in our college placement page — this is how you level up.
Where you will play.
Same ladder as the rest of the club. Every player who tries out is placed, and players move up when they earn it.
DELTA — developing players, and the one high school group that plays the full season through November 22.
LOCAL — league play against other club teams, finishing November 1 so high school players are available for their school season.
TRAVEL — invite only, also finishing November 1. Tournament play in and outside of San Diego, and where the college conversation starts. Travel carries extra tournament and travel costs on top of the season fee, and the full cost comes with the invitation.

What high school teams costs.
Most of our high school players make their school teams and leave the club in early November. We do not charge them for weeks their player will not be here, so what you pay depends on where the athlete is placed at tryouts.
- Two practices per week
- 6-8 games played before November
- Finishes before high school season starts
- Two practices per week
- The same full game schedule, spread across the whole season
- For players who are not going out for their school team
Uniform, insurance, 15% off every Sol camp and the member rate at the gate — for as long as they play. Returning players do not pay it again.
Two sessions a week, included the whole time your player is rostered. On its own that is $185 a month.
You will know your placement before you are billed. Tryouts are free, placement happens after tryouts, and billing comes after that.
TRAVEL costs more, and we will tell you how much before you commit. Invited TRAVEL players pay tournament and travel costs on top of the season fee. Nobody is placed on a TRAVEL team and billed a surprise — the full number comes with the invitation.
Participants may request a refund after attending their first practice, minus processing and transaction fees. No refunds will be issued after the first practice.
