Skills & Conditioning

Twice a week, all year.

The reps that make a player. Two classes a week, grouped by grade, open to anyone — and included free with every Sol team membership.

Sol skills class session

Two classes, split by grade.

Players work with others at the same stage, so a 4th grader learning footwork is not standing in the same line as a varsity guard. Grade is the starting point, not the rule — our coaches place players by what they can actually do.

Beginner & Intermediate

Grades 3–6

Learning the game the right way. Ball handling, footwork, shooting mechanics and conditioning, drilled until they hold up under game pressure.

Tue & Thu · 4:00–5:00 pm

$155/mo · 3-month minimum
$185/mo · no commitment

Advanced

Grades 7 through high school

Same skills, higher speed. For players who have the fundamentals and are learning to keep them clean as the pace picks up.

Tue & Thu · 5:00–6:00 pm
Includedfor anyone on a Sol team
$155/mo · 3-month minimum
$185/mo · no commitment
$30drop in — pick any date under “Class Sessions”

The only difference between the two prices is the commitment. Same class, same coaches, same floor — $155 asks you to stay three months, $185 asks for nothing. Placement is by skill, not grade. Players can move between classes as they progress — same price either way.

Bring a basketball and a water bottle. Alliant International University, 10455 Pomerado Road, San Diego, CA 92131. Younger than 3rd grade? Little Hoopers is where to start.

Free if your player is on a Sol team.

Both classes are included with a Sol team membership. Not a discount — included.

At $155 a month, three months of skills costs an outside family about $465. A full Sol season is $525, and the classes come with it — along with two team practices a week, weekend league games and playoffs.

If your athlete is already here twice a week, the team is the cheaper way to do it.

From a player who did it

“The skills and conditioning that Sol offers twice a week really taught me the central skills early on. I got really familiar with great footwork and the fundamentals… when I got in high school, I did the older skills as well.”

University of Oregon scholarship player

Questions about the membership.

The short version: you can stop whenever the plan allows, but you have to tell us — there is no cancel button, on purpose.

Reach out and we will stop your next charge. There is no cancel button in your account — a person handles it. We will confirm within one business day, and if we are slow and a charge goes through anyway, we refund it.

No. Once a month is charged it is yours to use, and cancelling stops the next charge rather than refunding the last one. If something real happened partway through — an injury, a move — tell us. We would rather work it out than have you feel stuck.

On the same date every month, starting the day you sign up. There is no calendar-month reset and nothing is pro-rated, so signing up on the 25th does not cost you a partial month.

It keeps going month to month at $155. The three months is a minimum, not a maximum — after that you can stop whenever you like, the same as the other plan.

Yes. Reach out and we will change it at your next charge. Moving between the two class levels costs nothing either way — coaches move players between them by skill anyway.

Then you should not be paying for this. Skills classes are included with a team membership, so tell us and we will cancel the subscription. If we spot it first, we will cancel it without waiting to be asked.

No. It is unlimited attendance rather than a set number of classes, so there is nothing to carry forward. If you know you will miss a long stretch, talk to us before it happens rather than after.

Tell us what is going on. We would rather pause you than lose you, and that is far easier to sort out when you tell us early than after three missed months.

No — one player per subscription. If you have two in the gym, reach out and we will sort something out.
